50 Three Months since the Petition Presentation
Aug 22, 2018 —
Good morning Fellow Residents, Commuters and Supporters
Greetings from Belgrade Airport - Serbia
Today is 3 mths since I personally presented the Car Parking Crisis Petition to Andrew Constance MP Minister for Transport and Infrastructure.
At that meeting the Minister indicated he would confirm the origins of people who signed the Petition and arrange a check of registration plates of people using the Station Car Parks.
Over the last 51/2 months since the Petition started there have been a few things happen but we are now in limbo.
While an announcement has been made about a $150,000 allocation of funds for Edmondson Park station to investigate options but no Brief or Scope of works has been provided or a timeline to carry out the investigation.
At Leppington Station it appears that a DA has been lodged but no details have been provided as to the details.
No replies to my emails sent to date to various MPs.
I will be back Home in Liverpool at the end of the week and will follow up on a number of issues next week.
The Car Parking campaign stalled a little due to a Facebook ban limiting my posts to groups.
With my European Holiday coming to an end I will now be able to focus attention bit more on the Car Parking Crisis Petition again starting from the 27th August.
Further information on the Rules for Petitions will also be sent out in the next update.
