Good Afternoon Fellow Residents , Commuters and Petition Supporters Miranda Devine has written an article in the Daily Telegraph last week about the Car Parking Crisis faced by Commuters around Sydney and she is asking the NSW State Government to provide more Multi Level Carparks. Miranda states in her article things like - "You can't find a spot after 6.30am, Commuter carparks are often the only way to access public transport and that current solutions are a bandaid on a gaping wound. I wrote a letter to the editor of the Daily Telegraph at news@dailytelegraph.com.au and it would be great if you did too. Dear Editor In light of the recent loss of Wagga Wagga By the NSW LIBERAL Government in the By Election with a 30% swing you would thing that the Premier might sit up and take notice. I have been running a Petition on Change.Org regarding the Car Parking Crisis at Edmondson Park and Leppington Stations in the South West of Sydney which has over 6750 signatures to date and the Liberal Government is still refusing to make a commitment to build Multi Level Carparks in the area. https://www.change.org/p/increase-commuter-parking-at-edmondson-park-and-leppington-train-stations In 2015 the South West Rail Link was completed $300 million below budget and 12 mths ahead of schedule and today just 3 years later we see the results of this poor planning decision. All voters in the SW of Sydney should sign the Petition to send a message to the Government to wake up and if it goes over 10,000 to hopefully have a discussion in Parliament. Wake up Gladys IF you lose the next election its not because of Canberra but because you stopped listening to the People of NSW. Yours Sincerely Remember to keep sharing the Petition link and the Video Links and Comments from my Facebook Page www.facebook.com/Michael.Independent/ TO ALL THE SUPPORTERS WHO SIGNED THE CAR PARKING CRISIS PETITION PLEASE - SHARE SHARE SHARE - Lets get this information out there into the wider community.
